    No! While Delta Phi Omega Sorority, Incorporated is a South Interest Greek Organization, we encourage anyone from any background, race, religion, and ethnicity to join. We are a culturally diverse organization. We have sxsters of various backgrounds and cultures across the nation!

    Delta Phi Omega Sorority, Incorporated allows sxsters to gain networking opportunities, encourages community involvement, fortifies self awareness, and provides lifelong relationships!
  • How expensive is it  to join Delta Phi Omega Sorority, Incorporated?"
    Not expensive! While most dues are around $500-$3000, our dues are around $160 a semester. These dues cover the costs of national expenses, insurance, and events. We rely on fundraising to cover other expenses.
  • What are the minimum requirements to join Delta Phi Omega Sorority, Incorporated?"
    All individuals are required to have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 or higher. They must also be enrolled full-time at the university where the sxster is a member.
  • How does Delta Phi Omega Sorority, Incorporated give back to the community?"
    Our philanthropy is Children’s Education and Literacy and in the past, we have raised over thousands of dollars to donate to our beneficiaries by holding event. Service to our community and to our philanthropy is our way of trying to give back to our community. We also show support for other organizations’ philanthropy events in numerous ways.

    This is a time potential new members learn about the history and values of Delta Phi Omega Sorority, Incorporated. Sxsters will help them learn skills and lessons that will help them in their future leadership roles on campus and in their professional careers.

    Our organization was founded on the pillars of Friendship, Honesty, Loyalty, Sisterhood, and Respect. Through our personal and professional goals, we strive to exemplify these principles on a regular basis. The experiences we have, the pillars we stand for, and the support of each sxster is what makes Delta Phi Omega Sorority, Incorporated a family.
  • What is Delta Phi Omega Sorority, Incorporated's policy on hazing?"
    We has a very strict zero tolerance policy when it comes to hazing. We take hazing extremely seriously. Every new academic year, National Council works diligintly with each school to ensure that they are up to date on all university hazing policies. Schools are also required to follow a strict no hazing process.
  • What is Delta Phi Omega Sorority, Incorporated's policy on alcohol?"
    We have a very strict policy in regards to alcohol and illicit substances. We does not tolerate alcohol being consumed by any of our sxsters at our events or programs. Sxsters are forbidden from consuming alcohol while representing our organization. Individuals who are of the legal drinking age are barred from drinking, and we hold every sxster accountable for their actions at all events.
  • Will joining Delta Phi Omega Sorority, Incorporated affect my academics?"
    Yes, but only positively! Academia is priority and we makes sure a high standard of good grades is held. With mandatory study hours in place, each sxster and every new member is required to spend adequate amounts of time studying. Our sorority also provides a huge network of active members and alumni who have gone through the same professors and classes, allowing you to frequently pass down helpful tips, advice, and study material to the younger members.
